Fort Ord National Monument trails are closed from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise.

Description

This trail is normally ridden top to bottom but can be ridden in either direction. The upper section is a great example of grasslands of Fort Ord and is alive with flowers in the Spring (March to May). The lower section is a fun and flowing ride down the ridge through oaks with a couple of steep sections that can get a bit rutted. This is one of the most enjoyable sections of trail on Fort Ord. The top of the lower section has a bench and a great view.
