Description

This trip features contoured trail between Brushy Creek and the Karkaghne Scenic Drive, with a couple of creek crossings that generally have water (although some are just a trickle in dry seasons). On the southern end there is a short section of road near the Sutton Bluff Campground. Camping here is seasonal, so check with the Forest Service to see if the campground is open.

In warmer seasons you'll find the swimming hole located just north of the low-water bridge to be one of the best in the area, a great place to cool off! The Sutton Bluff area has a large network of legal ATV trails, so it can be a little noisy on summer weekends.
