Overview
Bluhm County Park is a well-planned park with something for everyone. In addition to mountain biking, there are trail for hiking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
There are also picnic areas, showers and bathrooms, a playground, dog area, and wetlands that attract waterfowl.
As for the biking, some say this is some of the best mountain biking in Indiana.
Description
Although somewhat short, the trail is challenging, and entertaining for most riders. It's got plenty of twisty singletrack, a bit of elevation change, and some log features to ride over.
The trail is easy to follow - it's a one-way trail, and you won't get lost.
History & Background
This is the first mountain bike trail in Northwest Indiana. The park was donated in 1992 by Gayle and Lucille Bluhm.
