Description

This loop's northern half begins with a gradual climb through large brush. After a few small rock outcroppings, the trail leads to a scenic bench and bridge beneath a large tree (mile 0.5). A bit more climbing in a creek bed brings the trail to a small pond and the loop's high point.

On the southern leg, this trail meanders through brush, rocks, and trees, around several swooping corners, and finally down an open descent to the Froom Fire Road. A handful of tighter rocky spots and corners require extra attention.
