Description

This trail starts at the parking lot on Arizona St (there are only two parking spaces) then ascends up a short technical climb to Perimeter Trail. From there the trail descends a short way to the canyon bottom and follows the canyon in a gentle climb for about a mile.

From there the trail begins climbing at a serious grade for about 1.5 miles and 1200'. There are multiple switchbacks up this section to the ridgeline, then the trail slacks out a bit before you reach the Guaje Ridge trail. The trail continues past this point down into the bottom of Guaje Canyon, but is not often ridden on this section.
