From the small parking area off of Warren Wagon Road, access the Ruby Meadow Trail heading south on wide doubletrack. After two minor climbs and approximately four and a half miles, the route transitions to singletrack at a signed junction. The trail then descends and continues southwest through grassy meadows and marshy sections as it parallels Willow Basket Creek.

There are several switchbacks to negotiate along this rough downhill stretch. At just under eight miles, you'll reach the trail junction for the Loon Lake Trail at Victor Creek.
