To access the trailhead, turn off highway 65 onto Lands End Road. Within a mile or two, take the first left on Flowing Park Road(109). The road ends at Flowing Park Reservoir where the trailhead is found.

Cross a gate and start on a gravel road for the first mile. This then turns into a rough dirt road and quickly becomes singletrack and braided doubletrack. Most of the trail is singletrack that runs through meadows, skirting aspen and pine forests. A few miles in and the trail splits into Indian Point trail on the right and Flowing Park loop on the left. Continue right along Indian Point.

The majority of the trail is singletrack dirt about 1-2' wide. There are not any significant climbs or descents on this loop.

Beyond the great viewpoint off of Grand Mesa, this trail winds its way (very steeply) through pine forest. It is all descent once it leaves the mesa top, and is a difficult downhill.
