One of the nicest trails up on Bald Eagle Mountain -- especially since you can do a loop and ride the lower part of Horse Path Trail (upper) and Summit Trail.

The trail winds pleasantly through the trees, has only a couple quick-burst climbs, and the rock count is fairly low, until you descend next to the deer fence.

Keep a careful eye up on Sand Mountain Road for the discrete entrance to this trail. There is only a small DCNR brown triangle marking it. It's well worth checking out, and it beats the snot out of riding the road to get to Horse Path Trail.
