Description

The Blue Heron Trail skirts along the shore line of beautiful Lake Townsend. There is plenty of variety as the trail leads you out of the woods for multiple power line crossings. A few sections have deep gullies and dips that are fun to blast through and out of on your bike. Blue Heron flows great and is relatively easy for any rider to tackle.

The Kingfisher loop, which is a new 1.3 mile loop East of Yanceyville, is at the end of Blue Heron Trail.
