Overview

Rides and trails from Phil's trailhead and parking lot are easy, smooth and beautiful. This loop connecting Ken't to Phil's is a great example of the smooth trail with great flow.

Description

Head up Kent's trail from the parking lot. It's the one in the middle by the outhouse. It's almost impossible to get lost on the obvious trail, as the trail is so smooth, it looks manicured. It's a gradual uphill for a ways, then one bigger hill. At the junction, take a left onto KGB, uphill! There are a few rocks as you start a small descent, but really it's an old road that has overgrowth.

At the 'chicken' roundabout, look for the sign to head down Phil's. If all else fails, ensure you are traveling in a slightly downhill direction. This trail is so fun. Awesome turns and flow, with one section of technical. That rocky section is obvious as it is a tiny uphill section with a left-ish turn. It's fairly easy to ride through it, and just as easy to walk it if you choose.
