Corner Pocket begins with a steep climb from the road up onto the spine of tailings piles. Soon it dives down into the trees with a strong left turn using the hillside as a natural berm. It then remains in the trees sporting an amazing convolution of twists and turns. The ability to maintain flow through here is accentuated by a gravity cavity style switch back section.

Near the end is another portion of tailings pile spine riding. Enough speed can easily be gained here to intentionally or unintentionally launch you off a small roller as you enter the trees again. Be ready to scrub speed immediately to handle the rapidly approaching hairpin turn. A few small pumpers and the trail pops out onto the park road.
