Description

This trail leads the rider along the doubletrack and then up a steep narrow singletrack and into a pine forest. A scenic overlook of the creek and bottomland is afforded the rider who stops to rest at the first switchback. The E trail continues smartly uphill through the pine woods all the way to Pigeon Roost Road, about 0.3 mile from the switchback overlook. The pull is long but after the initial narrow, steep, switchback climb out of the bottomland the trail is straight and the singletrack runs between the pine rows with plenty of room to spare.
