Description

This fall-line singletrack trail may be a welcome shortcut down from the top of Green Shoot / Bald Knob Ridge Trail -- especially if either daylight or your legs are failing.

You'll hurtle down a twisting, narrow, overgrown, and partly eroded trail -- which is far more fun than it sounds! You'll pop out on Lower Trail, near the ruins of an old cabin and a nice fire pit by a stream. Turn left for the quickest way out. Go left at Laurel Run Road and down the mountain to the Galbraith parking lot.
