Description

Antique Creek is for experienced riders only. This relatively short loop just off the Main trail is full of roots, rocks, a relatively steep descent, and a difficult climb (both with rocks and roots). Typically riders will want to tackle this trail running clockwise. Shortly after entering the trail, there is a tricky section requiring the rider to negotiate their way around a basin with a dangerous drop off and a large root at the top requiring some skill to get over. Then there is a short but steep descent where you can pick up some speed but beware of a couple roots and then a creek crossing. This is where things get interesting, if you are strong enough and possess the right skill, you can tackle the steep climb out but the trail is littered with rocks (large and small) which require the rider to maneuver while climbing. To date, this rider has yet to make this climb, but it hasnt been for lack of trying!
