Description

The graveled doubletrack goes into the woods where trees are reclaiming the area once occupied by buildings used during the mining of the quarry. There are many viewing spots from the north side of the quarry, where the trail starts its easy descent closer to the water. at the intersection stay to the left to continue descending around or go right to climb a short hill back to the start of the loop.

In summertime the quarry is a very popular swimming hole!
