Description

Start out by riding down an unmarked dirt lane on Rt. 606 near the FS road leading to Hebron Overlook. The ride starts out with a small creek crossing and continues to ascend towards the ridge line on narrow, tight, and sometimes off camber sections of trail. A few steep climbs and tight switchbacks lie just below the top of the ridge.

Once on the ridge. various mountain ranges can be seen looking west (quite spectacular when the leaves are gone). The ridge consists of technical rolling singletrack and continues to climb. The trail will almost "top out" before making a gradual right turn towards the top of Patterson Mountain. Once at the top of the trail, there will be a very distinct trail junction with Patterson Mountain Trail and a sign showing other trails for another time. Generally a 2.5 to 3 hour time frame of going up and coming down.
