Description

Hawk offers a fun little climb and descent, and some of the best riding on the Framingham side of the park. It leaves Rocky Road at the same point where it intersects Moore Road, and immediately heads upward. The climbing starts off steep, but then eases off as it continues to the highest point. This part of the trail passes very close to the back yards of nearby houses, and on nice summer days you can smell the hamburgers grilling as you finish the climb.

Once the trail starts descending, it heads downhill for a ways, then turns left, flattens out, and climbs again for a short ways. At the end of the climbing, it turns sharply to the left and descends again, past a washed out section and a few final twists. After that the trail levels out and coasts back to Rocky Road.
