More Lussi-trail fun. Be aware, other trails nearby are in very close proximity; like only a couple feet away in some sections! Please forgive us, it can be a bit crazy out here, but the signage is much better now!

After you ride here, try to imagine it with no signs. Even the folks that helped to build the trails would get turned around! The history of these trails is that many of them were first conceived for an annual XTERRA race which has been on hiatus since 2010.

The Lussi trails are a dense network of hand-built singletrack loops on private property adjacent to state-owned forest preserve lands. The terrain is rolling with dense mixed forests, wetlands, and a golf course nearby. The trails are characterized by loamy organic soils, a fair share of roots, and multiple rock drops/log rides dispersed throughout the network. The Lussi trails should be avoided when conditions are wet.
