Description

The trail starts in the parking lot at the top of the Cheyenne Canyon road above Helen Hunt Falls. Head through the gate and uphill on the dirt road until you reach the top.

Once at the top, the road continues down and to the North into Bear Creek Canyon (not a fun ride unless you're connecting to another trail).

At the top, to the west is the short, hard climb to the Buckhorn overlook. To the Northeast is the entrance to Captain Jack's downhill.
