Overview
Curly's loop is a nice quick loop ride with a super fun and fast descent. It's a relatively low traffic trail but a must ride for the avid mountain biker.
Description
Curly's trail loop begins off of Baker Creek road about 12 miles north of Ketchum. Park on the east side of 75 and ride over to Baker Creek road. Head West on Baker Creek road and follow the gradual road with stunning views. Turn left on to the East Fork of Baker Creek, Road 168 and begin the climbing. This climb is relatively gradual but has a few spots of steeper gradients. Follow through a variety of zones until the road begins to traverse the hillside opening up views in all directions.
A small pull out on the left side is a nice place for a quick snack before beginning the singletrack. Turn left on to the
Curly's Trail and begin the rolling downhill. The beginning has some pedaling bits but keep your speed and you'll be rewarded. Overall, it's not a super technical trail, but very fun and flowy with a couple tight and rutted sections.
