Some of the trails in this area are Tribal Lands and part of Indian Canyon Park Land. These areas are closed to bikes.

Description

The trail is mostly hard-packed dirt with some loose crushed granite and lots of rocks. Be prepared to tire slide as this trail meanders up and down through small sand washes. Cathedral Canyon Trail starts at the confluence of HBV (Hahns Buena Vista Trail) and the Vandeventer, then climbs gradually to Dunn Rd.

There is a lefthand turn after a few hundred yards for Fern Canyon Trail. Don't take this option unless you like pushing your bike up a hellish sand wash!
