Overview

Adam's Camp Loop consisting of the fast machine built Hardy's Haul, and the technical and guide stone riddled Kimmer's Trail is a great advanced singletrack loop in the town of Stowe, near the ski area.

Description

This is a great advanced loop that utilizes the Adams Camp property and two of stowe's most recent trail build.

The ride starts on Ranch Brook Road, where you'll cross the bridge and head up a steep little doubletrack. This doubletrack is by far the most annoying part of the trails. When you reach the top, bear left when Kimmer's Trail is on your right and continue up the doubletrack XC ski trail. After some rolling hills, while generally going up, you'll eventually reach the singletrack.

The singletrack of Hardy's Haul is fast and machine built, making for a great climb. The only thing you need to know is to remain on this loop is to bear right after the short downhill. Hardy's Bypass goes to Pipeline and Trapp Family lodge.

On top of Hardy's Haul you'll make a right and continue climbing on Haul Road. On the Haul Road you'll continue to climb and then bear right on to Ranch Valley Cruise fire road. Ride this fire road until it starts to go down, then after a short steep climb, Kimmer's Trail will be on your right. Enjoy the flotec of Kimmer's - it's easy enough at the bottom to just climb up again and do another lap.
