Overview

This ride covered Mulligan before the RR Trestle and Deception (being the longest) after the RR Trestle, then a section of the paved walkway from the end of Deception back to the Sports Complex.

Description

Park near the skate park at the Brushy Creek Sports Complex. Head south between the ball fields and disk golf course. Turn right onto the cement walkway, towards the RR Trestle. As soon as you cross over Brushy Creek, look for "Mulligan" to your left. At the end of Mulligan, turn left onto the cement walkway and go under the RR trestle. Shortly after the RR trestle, turn left onto a newer cement walkway, go a few hundred feet and then look for signage to your right for the 1st half of "Deception" called 1/4 Knotch on your right.

Deception is about 6 miles long and is packed in tight with lots of turns and switchbacks, with lots technical features that increase the further you ride. Deception ends at a gravel doubletrack. Turn right on the gravel doubletrack and follow it down hill to the paved walkway. Turn right and follow the walkway back to the sports complex.
