New trail is now rideable in both directions due to the hard work of many at the Cove. This trail opens up numerous options for riders to link the "upper trails" with "middle trails" at the cove. While work is still ongoing on this trail as of June 2014, it appears to be at the point now where it will benefit from use to establish the tread. Connection at Hemlock Tunnel allows riders to turn right and climb toward the ridge or left to access middle and lower trails. Great views of the lake in a number of spots.
