Description

This is a fun little trail to use to drop in to McDowell Mountain Park, or use it as an easy climb out. It is smooth and flows well, with hardly a rock until you get close to Pemberton Trail. Watch your speed heading into the park, as the smooth decomposed granite makes it easy to skid on the corners.

The top part the trail can see quite a bit of foot traffic on weekends as it connects with the Marcus Landslide Trail, a popular interpretive trail for the casual hikers.
