Overview
Goodman Creek Trail is an out and back trail located near Lowell, Oregon that features a waterfall. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, mountain biking and nature trips. The trail is well marked, with a log bridge to mark your destination at the creek.
Eagles Rest Trail is a 4.4 mile out and back trail located near Dexter, Oregon that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
Most of the trail can be shuttled, but the gravel road isn't very treacherous. The very top I'm told is "Eagles Nest" is singletrack only.
Need to Know
Don't ride these trails if they're too wet. Check mtbr, or local riding club (dod/goats) forums for conditions.
Description
If not shuttling, park at the bottom by Hardesty trailhead, then up the road a little ways to Goodman Creek Road. Follow the gravel road up to the mid-way point for Goodman Creek Trail, or keep going up to the next widened gravel area for Eagles Nest Trail. Continue following the singletrack up to the top for a scenic view.
Then you get to ride downhill. Eagles Rest Trail is mostly all downhill, Goodman Creek Trail has some ups and downs mixed together.
