Starting about midway up Hillside Park, Janice's Jive climbs gently through rolling terrain in a mix of small meadows and mixed forest.

From Queen Bee Loop the mellow ascent continues and the trail becomes more playful. Each short climb is followed by a quick descent through twists and bends that lead into the next climb. Every so often you can catch glimpses of the mountain in Chugach State Park peeking through the trees

The route ends at the top end of Hillside and connects with The Hive, Hornet's Nest and Stinger.
