Description

This is a good place to start if you're entering the Hawes Trail System from the Canal Parking Lot. Stay right at the first junction with the Ridge Trail for some fast downhill sections, followed by somewhat rocky singletrack with exposure on your left.

Went in reverse, short exposure section had me walking as a beginner with a simple hard-tail and spring forks. Rest was enjoyable.
