Description

East Mesa Fire Road starts from the horse trailer parking area. The beginning stages travel south along Hwy 79 before turning east and transitioning to a road.

The route climbs for awhile from Hwy 79 before leveling out and crossing a meadow near Granite Springs trail camp. The final reaches of the road climb slightly again before intersecting with Deer Park trail.
