Description

This is one of the original bridle trails that was installed in the park when it as constructed in 1930's. The trail is a double wide fire road. It begins where Kummer Rd intersects Pierce Mill Rd, follows the North Ridge Rd and ends up where Babcock Blvd intersects Pierce Mill Rd at Irwin Run.

This trail can be ridden alone. It can be used to climb up from Pierce Mill Rd to access the Rainbow or Pfundstein Trails (Red with Blue Dot Blazed) via the red with green dot blazed connector and then across North Ridge Rd. to the Wisconsin Shelter.

It is fun to ride up from Irwin Run then cross the road and go down the Rainbow trail (backwards) towards the Skating Rink. It is fun to climb up the Rainow trail forwards then cross to the Red Bridle trail as it is a fast downhill from the Wisconsin Shelter to Irwin Run.
