River run is mostly easy doubletrack, with a slightly difficult section at the beginning. It travels along the river from the Green Loop to the south-west corner of the darling hill area, by Violet's Outback.

River Walk connects River run to the Green Loop, it's a shorter, but steeper alternative to climb back up.

After River Walk, the "Three T's" Troll Stroll, Tap 'n Die and Tody's Tour all exit onto River Run. After the "three T's" is Webs, a short but highly worthwhile trail.

Finally, River Run has a short section of singletrack, before ending a Violet's Outback.
