Description

This trail is a great way to start and end your ride out of Green Wood Furnace State Park. The bottom section of Sassafras is steep and eroded and could use a re-route, but after 100 yards or so it gets better and is all climbable.

Sassafras trail continues on after you cross Rag Hollow road and ride up Kettle road about 200 yards on your right. After the intersection of Pig Pile trail, Sassafras trail continues on and will connect you with Sassafras XX.
