This trail is popular and gets busy. Be respectful of other trail users and yield to uphill traffic.

Description

This trail starts at the top of Coal Bank pass at 10,600 ft. Be prepared to share the trail with hikers, peak baggers, and horses. This trail is very popular because it easily accesses some of the best terrain and trails in the region.

The trail has some technical sections that will make going up or down without getting off your bike difficult. The trail is short and you can get up to treeline in about 45 minutes. From there, the possibilities are endless and high alpine singletrack awaits you.
