Description

White Deer Creek Trail is a great introduction to what Bald Eagle has to offer. The trail rolls along the contour of the valley with little elevation to speak of. There are a few short sections of rock gardens to sharpen the skills on, but nothing too challenging or soul crushing. The majority of people ride this west to east, but that's more because Black Gap Trail is much better in this direction and flows pretty nicely into White Deer Creek.

If you are riding west to east, you'll notice the forest change from hardwoods to a hemlock stand, letting you know you are approaching the end. There is one good creek crossing that is rideable but you need to carry speed.
