MB2 adds a little challenge with some dips and small whoops along with some tight turns. Twisty singletrack through mixture of pine and hardwood forest. Moderately rooty.
Access to Harbins east loops
MB3 and Back Side.
Enter the trail at the left side of the parking lot. A short downhill section crosses a paved trail bringing you to the first of three loops. The loops may be ridden in any direction. The route described here flows well and is the most commonly ridden route.
Take the left turn to do the south side of the first 0.4 mi loop, going clockwise. You'll come out on a logging road. You could keep right and to complete the .4 mi loop and return to parking, but instead take the logging road to the left.
Continue on the logging road a short distance until you come to a gate. Do not take the first trail you come to. This is a horse-only trail. It's marked with a small sign, but folks often take it by mistake.
When you reach the gate, turn right or left to continue on the second loop. This loop is 1.1 miles.
If you want to get to back side
MB4 as quickly as possible, turn right for the shortest way to Harbins east loops
MB3 and Back Side
MB4. However, this loop is most commonly ridden clockwise, which is the left turn.
You'll come to a crossing where the Harbins east loops
MB3 join. Enjoy Harbins east loops
MB3 and Back Side
MB4, then return to this crossing.
Complete the other side of the 1.1 mi loop. Return to the logging road, cross the horse trail, then ride the other part of the .4 mile loop.
Cross the paved trail and retrace your route uphill back to parking.
