Duncan Trail is one of Bald Eagle's "drivable trails", meaning that it was once a logging route that is now unmaintained but does allow motor vehicles. This means its a bit more difficult than the forestry roads but doesn't have any huge obstacles. Beware of rocks hiding in the grass at the height of Summer. Going from east to west, the initial climb is a bit tough with some small rock ledges and short steep sections. The downhill on the west side is fairly smooth.
