Description

This trail is generally accessed by riding up the Homestead Trail or riding up the doubletrack road at the Horse Lake trailhead. The newest of the Sage Hills trails, Apricot Crisp contains some good switchbacks and fun riding. Many loops can be tied into this trail including riding from #2 Canyon / Twin peaks into the sage hills.

Apricot Crisp is generally smooth hard-packed sand like you see in the rest of the Sage hills system. There are a few fun switchbacks to be had and some fast sections.

Best times of year would be spring and fall. Summer can be very hot and rattlesnakes are common.
