The Double Lake Recreation Area has one of the most extensive networks of singletrack in the Houston area. The network is set up a series of loops that can be linked up to make as long or short a ride as you want.

This trail doesn't get much use and it is a little tough to follow as it crosses the Lone Star Hiking Trail (no bikes...) a couple of times. Keep your eyes open and follow the "Bikes" signs and you'll be ok. The trail is not as nice as some of the other trails in the area, but it does make a key connection from the Double Lake Recreation Area Trail to the C Trail. You'll need to ride this trail to do the Double Lake Big Loop.
