Description

Lincoln Park Road (GH 66) is an east to west road connecting Lincoln Meadow to the top of Humbug Hill It has been graded for logging operations to begin in 2014.

While not an especially good ride, the road does provide a vital link to a variety of trails within the Golden Horseshoe; including Golden Rule Trail, Rock Island Road, Yellow Brick Road, Forest Queen, Governor King Trail, American Gulch Road, Humbug Hill (GH 61), and Little French, making numerous loop options viable.

The road begins in Lincoln Meadow near Rich Gulch (GH 62) and ends at the top of Humbug Hill. The sister trail extending west from the meadow to the Western Sky Ranch Subdivision is Prospect Hill Road (GH 38).

Combined, these two roads provide the backbone of the Golden Horseshoe trail network. - Welcome to the Forest of Confusion!

Lincoln Meadow - a landmark within the Golden Horseshoe. Intersection of Lincoln Park and Forest Queen Roads; Governor King Trail at left. "Not all that wander are lost."

GH 67 - Governor King Trail downhill. Marker post is 100' off of Lincoln Park Road and not visible from the road.

A confusing beginning to a fun downhill. This is the uphill intersection, and beginning of Governor King Trail at Lincoln Park Road. The Governor King Trail is marked, unfortunately the sign is 100' down the trail to the left and not visible from Lincoln Park Road. Note the backwards yellow sign.

One of the more confusing intersections in the Golden Horseshoe. This is the intersection of the Forest Queen (left), Yellow Brick Road (straight), and Governor King (out of picture to the right at GH 67 marker) trails.
