Description

The Scout Loop connects the primitive campgrounds and the Overlook shelter to the parking area and Ranger station. Mostly doubletrack, part of the Palmetto Trail uses a segment of the trail. Part of the Scout Loop was used in the Southern Classic MTB series but is now bypassed in favor of the Cowasee Trail.
