Description

Anderson Mountain Road is a forest road that climbs over 1000' from Chief Joseph Pass to Anderson Mountain.

The Continental Divide Trail follows Anderson Mountain Road for most of its length and the road is also used to access May Creek Trail and Three Mile Ridge #124.

Concrete footings are all that remain of an old fire lookout that once sat atop Anderson Mountain. That and the huge views of the central Idaho mountains.
