Description

The Continental Divide Trail between Big Hole Pass and Anderson Mtn Road #081 holds some great sections of trail offering huge views of Montana and Idaho.

For the most part, the CDT follows the divide, so expect steep climbs and hike-a-bike and steep descents.

The trail is marked with cairns and CDT emblems and "dot over slash" blazes on the trees depending on where you are.

Watch the weather closely. Lightning storms can build quickly along the divide.
