Description

Similar to West Shore Trail, East Shore Trail has plenty of rocky and technical challenges. The route has a few short ups and downs and travels through moderately dense forest with open understory. The Northernmost 0.5 miles is the remains of old Route 170 before it was flooded by the dam. The trail is marked in Red.

East Shore Trail near the dam has large swaths of fallen trees across the trail. Significant blockage exists and lots of bike-hike arounds needed.
