Description

An alternate way to climb Apex Park. A constant climb with exposed sun, this connects Grubstake Loop, Apex Trail, and Sluicebox. It's primarily loose rock over hard pack trail with several tight switchbacks and steep sections.

This trail thaws early after a snow.

As far as front range winching goes, this is pretty enjoyable. Never too steep for very long. The ledges are hard but not impossible.
