Description

This is one of the original trails installed in the 1940's. It is used to connect the North Ridge Area (Rainbow and Pfundstein trail) to the South Ridge Pool Area.

It is a little hard to find the trailhead. Start by Ingomar and Babcock and ride down Babcock towards the 7-11. Then turn right onto a paved access road. About 100 feet up the road, cross a small wooden bridge into a grassy field. Look for the trail between the bushes in field and enter there.

Follow trail to the fire road. Climb up fire road (this is called the Moonscape Trail) to the Pie Traynor field parking lot.
