Description

Short Stacker is accessed from the southern end of the parking area where it closely skirts the south base of Britton Peak. It can be ridden in either direction.

This loops turn-around-point (its intersection with Crosscut) is higher than the parking lot, so regardless of which direction you ride this loop, you'll be climbing first and then rewarded with a descent on the way back.

Features on this trail are relatively easy: there are limited rocks/roots, boardwalks are wide, and the terrain rolls nicely for a flowing ride.

These maple forests are absolutely gorgeous in the autumn. As long as you're here, you cannot leave without parking your bike and hiking to the top of Britton Peak (follow signs/map for Superior Hiking Trail spur to lookout). It's a short hike with a very rewarding view!
