Bitter on the technical uphill, sweet on the slightly exposed, ridgeline descent.

Description

Bittersweet branches off of the Camaro Loop trail in the south and the Sunset Pass trail in the north. This trail traverses some serious topography for Tucson Mountains standards. The climbs are technical but 100% rideable. Be careful on the downhill, where saguaro cacti and the occasional small rock drop can present surprises.

Riding here, it is easy to forget you are so close to the city, except for the rare hilltops you can see it from.
