Description

Spruce Road forms a loop beginning and ending on Summit Gulch Road (GH 74). The southern end of the road is located at the intersection of Summit Gulch Road (GH 74), Fuller Trail (GH 44/GH 12) and Sawmill Road (GH 22) at the top of Heinous Hill.

From here the trail descend through an intersecting moto singletrack (Golden Rule Trail - GH 71/GH 18) towards the northern tip of Lincoln Meadow. There is a non-system doubletrack that traverses the north side of the meadow with deep wheel ruts.

From the meadow Spruce Road turns due north, crossing Golden Rule Trail (GH 71) again before looping back to Summit Gulch Road (GH 74) at a triangular-shaped trail intersection.

Top of Heinous Hill. Sign at the beginning of Fuller Trail (GH 44) at the intersection with GH 22 (Sawmill Road) and GH 72 (Spruce Road). Most of the markers along Fuller identify it as GH 44, but there are still several GH 12 marker posts: holdovers from initial Forest Service numbering efforts.
