Description

This is a great introductory ride to the Moscow Mountain trail system and this is the only loop that has a marked trail. The trail is very smooth but has a lot of grade reversals and turns to keep you on your toes. It is best ridden in the counter-clockwise direction. This trail was built by mountain bikers and has some great flow.

In the counter-clockwise direction there will be some steep climbs that will challenge some riders followed by some nice breaks. If you are not a very strong rider I recommend you do this loop in the clockwise direction. Just be aware there are many runners and hikers who use the steeper section of the trail, hence the recommendation to go counter-clockwise since you can really pickup some speed in the steep sections.
