The Sewage Plant road is open to authorized vehicles only. Even if the gate is open, leave your vehicle outside the gate or you may get locked in.

Description

From the sewage plant road, begin riding up Pueblo Canon to the west. The lower part of the road may be maintained until you reach the sewage treatment plant, but after that it is very hit or miss. The canyon has flooded several times in recent years so the road quality varies constantly. Watch for hoodoos when you reach the upper end of the Tent Rocks Trail area. Read more about the Tent Rocks of Pueblo Canyon

Near the end you can climb out of the canyon on the steep loose utility road or jump on the Lower East Fork Trail or the Ranch School Trail.
